The Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peeling System This peeling system is very successful at treating the following conditions: -Aging skin(Smokers lines/ Barcode lines) -Facial wrinkles -Active acne -Melasma -Pigmentation from blotchiness, to freckles -Scarring -Enlarged pores -Eedness around the eyes -Vascularity -Sun damage The effects of this process continue for up to a year after the peel has been done, as collagen and elastin formation take place over time.   How many Renewal peels do I need? 1 or 2 depending on your skin type They are usually spaced out by 6 weeks. Aftercare is very important in the form of SPF, Sun Hats, sun protection, Medical grade skin care, and a yearly GetGlowing peel is always a great way to maintain. Do I need a pre-peel Consultation? You most definitely do. This is to discuss pre and post care, expectations, explain the process in detail, to look at your medical history, and to ensure their are no medical contra-indications present. How long am I out of action for with the Renewal peel? Day 1 is at the clinic, where you will spend 2-3 hours having the peel done. Day 2 you return to the clinic for part 2 of the application, and this takes just over 2 hours. You will then need to stay out of the sun for the next week. *5 days of serious hibernation is usually recommended, as the peeling is extreme, and all patients are to purchase sunglasses, a CANSA association sun hat, and a scarf to protect the neck. After a week, you are to please return to the clinic where we will remove the layers of dead skin and unveil your new, baby fresh skin.
