A Xanthelasma is a soft, yellowish, fatty deposit that forms under your skin usually on or around the eyelids and most often near the nose. They occur mainly in middle-aged and older adults — and in women more often than in men.

The Plexr creates a tiny beam that, when it hits the skin, causes immediate sublimation of the tissue in that area – in other words, it turns the skin cells from their solid state into a gas.
With the Plexr the treated area immediately cools and does not overheat the surrounding tissue.
The Plexr does not cause sagging, discoloration or bleeding and does not require any anesthesia with the exception of a numbing cream.
It is a safe and effective treatment for these conditions and scarring is extremely unusual.
A typical session will last no more than 30 minutes, although patients are required to attend the appointment 30 minutes prior to the actual procedure to have topical numbing cream applied to the area to be treated. The procedure is then virtually painless. You may experience a sensation of heat in some sensitive areas.
Most people see a noticeable result after the first treatment although some may require more than one treatment and this is subject to your personal expectation. Patients may experience some swelling and mild discomfort in the treated area following your treatment and this may last up to three days.
